BBC Scotlandshire breaks radio silence with podcast.

lamont-bunker2BBC Scotlandshire broke radio silence today when our political correspondent Nat Hunter took part in the fourth Scottish Independent Podcast to give a report on last Saturday's hugely unsuccessful 'March for Separatists Wanting Separation' which took place, largely unnoticed, in Edinburgh.

The report follows a 10 minute interview on the subject of the great Johann Lamont's recent epoch making speech with James Maxwell, a Scottish Political Journalist who occasionally appears in the New Statesman and on Bella Caledonia, .

Podcasting is a new departure for the corporation which has recently been the subject of devastaing budget cuts, causing all of the BBC Scotlandshire television channels to be abandoned.

The quality of the sound on the podcast is not what we would have liked, as budget constraints meant the recording was carried out in a toilet block at Atlantic Quay using the webcam mic of a laptop.

Unfortunately, all of the office space in our brand new headquarters had to be sublet to MI5, since they were overflowing their own building next door, as they get ready for the independence referendum.

Scottish Labour leader Johann Lamont was unavailable for comment.
